A birthday-party cake.
Place and date of cooking:
Elværket Helsingør
(Dk)
03-10-2001. Time 22.00
Before u start mixing this complex birthday-cake, u need one good
reason.
In this case I got one Wank turning 25 years of age.
Next u need a good flow in mixing the ingrediense and after 5 years
of experience the path is clear:
House (Crizzy) – Hardtrance (Cue) – Techno (Wank) - Acidtrance liveact
(Smooth Woofers) – Uk acid (C.Vesth) – Psytrance (Shania) –
Psytec
liveact (Subtraction).
Now for the ingrediense:
Hardware: Dj gear: 2 1210 record-players - 1
mixer – 2
cdplayers.
Speakers :8 19” bass – 4 trebel.
Lights: 1 pc 500 mhz -. 4 mac250 – 2 acrobats – 1 1.3 ghz pc- 1
projector
- strobe- smokemachine.
Dancefloor with 30 degrees. Lots of beer and water and about 1000
flyers.
Software. 5 dj’s - 2 liveacts - 12 crew workers – A lot of happy-dancing audience from Denmark and Sweden.
Plan the cooking well and
remember to tell people, in good time, by
flyer- web- sms- chat- or
oral message where and when to eat party-cake.
Now let the software play
with the hardware.
Start by mixing a small bunch of audience with dj Crizzy. Warm them
up with cool house-tracks and special spices. Slowly gain the volume
and
when the dj is medium fried and has tweaked towards hardtrance, switch
to the next dj for higher experience.
Let dj Cue play for about 1 hour of hardtrance with tracks such as
Sven Väth – the robot (hardfloor rmx). Add more audience and turn
up the volume until the heat of the dancefloor is near 40 degrees. Lots
of light effects work here.
When Cue reaches his peek of the night with Der dritte raum -
trommelmachine
let him turn the mixer over to the la-la-man Wank. He is one of the
main
ingrediense.
Now set the Wanker free from his chains and let him play some highspeed
technotrack mixing. A lot of audience and light is needed now. Don’t
worry
if some oldies come out of the speakers, cause this usualy works.
Especialy Cj Bolland – the prophet will do the trick.
Talking about oldies the next substanse needed comes with more than
10 years of xp. Smooth Woofers is a known spice in Elværket and
he
always plays round-about 30 min. of his own cool composed acidtrance
tracks.
He’s got his own audience and no complaints has ever been heard about
Smooth
Woofers.
Until now all the actors has come from Helsingør and the next
two dj’s can make an extreme difference to the taste. C.Vesth from
København
adds hardcore Uk acid mixed in at straight, no error, aggresive 2 hour
technotrip. Not a single miss here.
And especialy for the swedes, psytrance-guru Shania must do it for
our nabours. With a 2 hour bassrumbling kickass mix, no one, will leave
this partycake with a dry shirt.
All these dj’s, audience, lights and loud perfect volume make a perfect
flow for cooking and in a steady mix all of the above the party-cake
comes
to a higher vibe.
As an ending Wank get’s a special composed Happy-birthday-Wank (mother
fucker) by Subtraction and the night’s final track Psyco wrap’s the
cake
in memory as another stunning Pneumatic rave.
